Askurgan Trueblades Background Tables

Source: Predators and Prey (out of print)

Inheritors of ancient martial traditions, the Askurgan Trueblades refuse to succumb to the worst excesses of their bloodlust.

Instead, these monk-like vampires attempt to exclusively feast upon the gore of monsters, channelling its primal power while resisting the lure of animal madness. Initiates to the order choose new names upon joining, drawn from the annals of the Askurga Renkai - a means of breaking with their old indulgences and embracing a more puritan existence. That said, all vampires hunger for glory to some extend, and many Askurgans adopt titles that speak to some great deed or worthy kill they have made.
