Corvus Cabal Background Tables

note

There are two versions of some tables, one from the original rulebook, and an updated one from White Dwarf #483.

Corvus Cabal initiates primarily hail from the Carrion Reach mountains in Ulgu, though others have flocked to join them after witnessing their acts of violence in the Eightpoints. Their way of life is heavy with rituals, from self-mutilation to the stripping of corpses.

Cabal initiates’ names are unique combinations of hoarse cries and scratched whispers that mimic the sounds of prey-birds. They are bestowed after an initiate’s customary maiming of the vocal cords, and their carrion call pays tribute to their hungering avian god. This is done when the initiate comes of age or immediately upon entry, in the case of older pilgrims. |
