Darkoath Savagers Background Tables

Source: Warcry Red Harvest (out of print)

The tribes of the Darkoath Savagers fight both to earn glory and to fulfil their oaths to the Ruinous Powers. There is no challenge they will not undertake, be it hunting the most monstrous of beasts or claiming stockpikes of precious varanite. Bloody-minded willpower is one of the most critical traits a Darkoath can posess; they brutally smash aside anything in their way, unwilling to relent until their oath is fulfilled.

The Darkoath consider the recording of glorious feats to be of grand import. Though the harsh lives of their warriors are often cut short in battle, the glory they win may resound through tribal legends for generations. Deed-names are of paramount importance to the Darkoath, for through these may other servants of the gods learn of their prowess.
