Splintered Fang Background Tables

The warriors of the Splintered Fang descend from the nomadic tribes of the great jungles of Invidia, and once worshipped the godbeast Nagendra as part of a pantheon of animalistic deities.
Over the centuries this primal totemism was corrupted by the influence of Chaos. The shamans of the Splintered Fang came to worship the Coiling Ones, daemonic entities that claimed to be the offspring of Nagendra, and demanded a constant offering of souls in order to awaken their slumbering progenitor. One by one the Splintered Fang destroyed the other tribes of the Invidian Pantheon, hurling the survivors into serpent-filled pits. Those not slain by the searing toxins that seeped into their blood were granted the honour of joining the Splintered Fang, a custom that the warrior cult observes to this day
