Though more interested in experimentation than war, the Tarantulos Brood fight for many reasons, whether it be to defend their webbed lairs or capture enemies for their surgical slabs. Those of a warlike bent are believed to make the finest test subjects by the twisted lords of the Brood, for such specimens possess the resolve to endure the horrors worked upon them for crucial seconds longer and this provide more complete observations.
Tarantulos warbands fight without rancour, though they take a malicious glee in employing their mutant abilities against their enemies. They are more willing than some to retreat in the face of danger, but only so that they may return on more favourable terms later - after all, once the prey is trapped in their web, there is no need to rush...
