The Unmade Background Tables

The story of the Unmade is a tragic one, a great kingdom’s descent into barbarism. Once, the philosopher-kings of Tzlid were renowned across Shyish for their nobility and wisdom.
Yet the kingdom was plagued by the depredations of undead creatures. Mighty Prince Vourneste swore to find a way to protect his people. In desperation he turned to the powers of Chaos, and his prayers were answered in the most horrific fashion. Twisted and remade by his daemonic patrons, he became the monster known as the Flayed Prince. He led his people in rituals of mutilation in which pain was worshipped as a benediction. His people became the Unmade. They have since abandoned dynastic names, instead taking simple titles that mark them as nothing more than weapons of the Dark Gods.
