Untamed Beasts Background Tables

Source: Warcry Core Book 2019 (out of print)

The Untamed Beasts hail from the Jagged Savannah, a stretch of grassland dominated by stampeding herd-beasts and hunting packs of predatory monsters.

Such is the primal ferocity of this place that the savannah itself is locked in a battle for survival - razor-sharp maws of living rock periodically burst from beneath the earth, swallowing tracts of land. The strength granted by their worship of Chaos has allowed these nomadic tribespeople not only to survive the feeding frenzy of their homeland, but to thrive. The weakest become meat for the Devourer of Existence to feast upon, while the strongest live long enough to earn a name. This epithet is chosen to honour a notable deed they have performed - the slaying of a deadly beast, perhaps, or a propensity for uncanny foresight.
