Rotmire Creed Background Tables
Source: Rot and Ruin (out of print)
Outlaw plague-alchemists who dwell within the toxic marshlands of western Thondia, the Rotmire Creed desire to unleash their grotesque maladies upon all life.
Long ago the deranged cultists of the Rotmire Creed were wise and learned medicine-masters, whose counsel was greatly sought after by the folk of the free cities. That was until they fell to the corrupting influence of Nurgle, whom they know as Lord Leech, and abandoned themselves to depravity. Now, they seek only to inflict the vilest contagions upon those they once protected. Most retain their old names, though they often add to them with epithets that reflect the gallows humour of their beloved god.
