Twistweald Background Tables
Source: Briar and Bone (out of print)
The Twistweald are composed of merciless warriors who will stop at nothing to protect their kin. Gone is the gentle spirit-song, replaced in their minds with their parasite’s constant thrum.
Though Sylvaneth of the Twistweald still bear the names they had before they were infected, they will often symbolically adopt a title or second name upon their exile to mark the change in their bodies and souls. This name is unique to each Sylvaneth, and is often an expression of melancholy, fury, or occasionally hope that they will once again find peace. These names also set them apart from the unaffected, serving as a warning to all those around them.
